One page, one day, one person
Two things are for sale here. This is what each of them is, what it costs, and what happens to your money in between.
Take a page
Claim a name for a set number of days, or bid for the homepage on a particular date. Named pages are bought outright; dates go to whoever bids highest.
Write the note
Choose one of eight papers and write. There is a live preview of the finished page beside you the whole time, so nothing is a surprise once it is out of your hands.
Send the link
On the day, the page is the note. No header, no navigation, nothing of ours in the way — just the words, and a small mark in the corner in case they wonder where they are.
What it costs
A fixed price for the window you choose. Short, single-word names carry a premium because more people want them.

Whatever the bidding reaches. Opening prices start low on ordinary dates and higher on the ones people compete for.

The commission is taken from the sale price, so a £60 sale pays the seller £51.
House rules
- Bids are binding
- While you are the leading bidder the amount is held from your wallet — you keep it, but you cannot spend it twice. It is released the moment somebody outbids you, and taken only if you win.
- Auctions do not end on a snipe
- A bid in the final two minutes pushes the close back by two. An auction ends when the bidding actually stops, not when the clock happens to run out.
- Notes are private by default
- Named pages are never indexed by search engines and the text is kept out of link previews. The person you send it to should be the first to read it.
- Some names are not for sale
- Anything that could be mistaken for us or for part of the site — lovenote.page/billing, support, admin and a few hundred others — is reserved permanently, so nobody can use this domain to impersonate anyone.
- Nothing hateful, nothing targeting a private person
- A page that abuses or exposes someone is removed and the money is not refunded. This is somewhere people send love notes; it stays that way.
- If we take something down in error
- You get the page back or your money back, your choice. Write to us and a person will read it.
